Samsung One UI 7 Global Rollout Hits Another Snag: India & Beyond Left Waiting – What’s Behind the Delay?

Samsung One UI 7: Samsung interrupted the One UI 7 version for the Galaxy S24 series after users started complaining about a critical bug. For unconnected ones, the company started launch with South Korea and recently released the update to users in India, US and Canada in a phase. However, the company has now interrupted the broader release due to South Korea reports, where users faced serious telephone unlock problems after the update.

According to reports citing social media users and an ice universe of Tipster, some Galaxy S24 users are having trouble unlocking their devices under certain conditions after installing the UI 7 update. The report also stated that the bug affects the phone’s main function, which is why Samsung has halted the wider release of the update.

When will Samsung roll out the One UI 7 update in India?

Interestingly, Samsung has not yet announced the UI 7 launch time for the latest generation of smartphones. The report also added that the company is reviewing the firmware to address the bug and avoid interruptions. However, this comes as bad news as users outside South Korea will have to wait a little longer to receive the update.
The problem seems to be limited to the Galaxy S24 series, as there have been no reports of similar problems that affect the Galaxy Z Fold 6 or the Galaxy Z Flip 6 users so far. Until then, if you have received an update from One 7, we advise you to follow your current software version and wait for future company updates.

However, we updated our Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for an UI 7 and we are not facing any problems with unlocking. The update was smooth and we didn’t find big bugs. Stay tuned to Digit to the latest UI 7 launch date for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 and other series.
