Infinix Note 50x 5G+: Infinix is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India that comes with exclusive perfume technology, an internal mechanism that allows the device to release a light fragrance from the rear panel. The technology will make its debut with the next Infinix Note 50x 5g+, which will be part of the company’s notes series.
This will be the first phone to have a technology like this and should be released later this month. In an exclusive conversation with Times Now Tech and Digit, Infinix India CEO Anish Kapoor shared details about the new technology and also revealed the first look of the device in a marine blue variant. “We tried to innovate. One of these innovations is this energizing perfume technology. It’s as if you have a beautiful phone and smells good too. There is a lot of technology behind it,” Anish said while confirmed that the phone will be released in India on April 18.
Infinix Note 50x will be available in three different colors, but only the marine variant in vegan will have the end of leather. When asked about the need to bring this technology, Anish said consumers really don’t know what they want until they see it. “We all want to smell good. We want to be in the environment. If we have something that smells good in our hands, why not!” He added. Although Anish did not reveal the exact price of the phone, he suggested that the 50x 5g+ note would cost less than RS 20,000 in the Indian market. The final price will be revealed on the day of launch.
What is Scent-Tech energizing in Infinix Note 50x 5g+?
The energizing perfume tech presented in Infinix Note 50x 5g+ (marine drift variant) uses microencapsulation technology. It is a process that involves holding fragrance molecules within microscopic capsules. These capsules are infused on the rear vegan leather panel of the phone, allowing the device to gradually release a light and refreshing perfume over time.
According to Infinix, the perfume is designed to be lasting and subtle, although its intensity and duration can vary based on how the phone is used and under environmental weather conditions such as temperature and moisture. The company states that the fragrance should last about 6 months. From now on, this is a temporary experience and there is no way to increase the life of the fragrance.
